You spend your weekends at home watching Satellite TV or playing football in the backyard but how well affiliated are you with people just like you? If you’re a teen and you’re Asian consider joining the Asian Pacific Youth Network. You’ll be glad you did.
Likeminded Teens – It’s hard to explain the pressures of being a pacific Asian if you’re not one yourselfthat’s why it’s a great idea to become part of the APYN. With so many other kids just like you with the same family traditions it’s hard to imagine a better place to fit in.
Social Group – Studies repeatedly show that teens who engage in structured social organizations like the AYPN are less likely to turn to drugs or violence for entertainment. It’s a great way to stay out of trouble and make some friends.
Learning – Hey, you might learn something! No really, depending on your chapter, you can learn language skills, business development and all types of things to help you keep your heritage aliveget out there and start becoming an ambassador of your culture like you’re meant to be!
